“Where is God When I Need Him?”
Habakkuk 1:1-11
Introduction:
Questions???
God loves it when we ask questions – God answers questions.
Do you ever wonder if God is even there?
I need Him where is He? This is what Habakkuk felt!!!
Habakkuk complained four times about God’s silence:
1. My prayers are going UNANSWERED.
2. My counsel goes UNHEEDED.
3. My circumstances are UNBEARABLE.
4. My Faith is UNRAVELING.
God steps to center stage – verses 5-11
HERE’S THE ANSWER:
GOD IS WORKING EVEN WHEN WE DON’T SEE HIM!
We must accept God’s answer plus understand these two things:
1. I am not going to see it unless I WAIT
2. I will never wait without FAITH |
