COMMUNITY GROUPS HELP YOU GET CONNECTED!

There are many ways to get connected at Ankeny Free Church, but Community Groups is one of the best!

WHAT IS A COMMUNITY GROUP?

We call them "community groups" because they are designed to help create and maintain real community. It is so difficult to make significant relationships during a 1 hr. worship service once a week. In fact, it rarely happens! In the more intimate setting of a community group, we are able to "do life together!"

WHAT HAPPENS IN A COMMUNITY GROUP?

Community groups meet weekly on various nights of the week. A typical meeting is about an hour and a half and includes time for Bible study, sharing and praying together, and encouraging each other to reach out to those in your sphere of influence. It's getting to know other people who can help you on your journey to developing the character of Jesus Christ!

COMMITMENT

We ask everyone who joins a Community Group to make a one-year commitment - a commitment to attend the weekly meetings and participate in the activities of that group.
