Children's Ministries
Children are important to God and everyone here at Ankeny Free Church. Our goal is to assist parents in teaching these precious little ones how much God loves them and instill a desire in their hearts to love Him in return through biblically based curriculum. We feel privileged to help the young grow in their knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ and continually lift them up in prayer to God our Father.
Children are taught God’s Word during both Sunday Worship services at 8:30 and 10:30 am.
Awana meets on Sunday nights
from 5:00 – 6:30 pm (Sept-April)
Awana helps churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ! We do this through:
- Fully integrated programs for ages 3 to 12
- The best evangelism tools to reach unsaved children and families
- Teaching that builds an enduring biblical faith
- Resources bringing churches and parents together to disciple the next generation
- Initial and ongoing volunteer training
- Healthy mentor and peer relationships
- Dynamic fun for children, teens and adults alike!
